I studied psychology in college and always wanted to become a clinical psychologist. I spent three years working unpaid in the health service in order to gain experience for my masters and doctorate. Lash extensions were becoming popular at the time, and so I enrolled in a lash course to be able to fund the lengthy psychology career path. I fell in love with the industry, and as a lash extension wearer myself, I knew first hand how amazing they made me feel. I spotted a gap in the industry for good quality training and professional products in Ireland.
I built my business all while working full time and unpaid, as well as doing my masters degree. I then became allergic to lash extensions. This presented another gap in the market for an alternative to strip lashes. I wanted to create something that would last longer than a strip lash, be easy to apply and be kind to my sensitive eyes. I created our first consumer product Speedy Lash based on my own needs, and won Pitch24 with Arnotts. My brand is all about making lashes easy again, and allowing you to feel good on the go.
