Karl is the co-founder and CEO of Raylo. Karl started his fintech career as an early member of Funding Circle’s capital markets team. He executed the first institutional capital transactions and led the IPO of the Funding Circle SME Income Fund – the first publicly listed permanent capital vehicle dedicated to a fintech lending platform. Prior to Raylo he was a Director in Deutsche Bank’s equity derivatives department and he started his career in fixed income derivatives at Barclays Capital. He holds an MSc degree in Finance from Durham Business School and a BA degree in Economics from Durham University. Karl is a keen golfer and has represented Ireland in 21 international matches. He continues to play off a handicap of scratch… although has accepted it will inch higher over the years as Raylo is scaled!
