Angela Skarmoutsos is the Founder & Director of Cosimac.
Cosimac is a high quality brand of outdoor robes and kit, all designed by our small enthusiastic team. We supply B2C online, B2B retailers & clubs & sponsor national & international events. We sell 85% to U.K. and Ireland, 7% to Europe & 8% to International markets. The idea behind Cosimac was sparked on a County Down beach in December 2019, after an icy dip in the sea. I owned a product which was bulky and scratchy. This inspired me to research materials and manufacturers to get the best possible product. I joined forces with a good friend and together with combined skills to co-found and launch in August 2020 (mid covid). I was a Full time Vice Principal, member of several boards, a mother of 3 & launching a business during a pandemic. What started in my living room with a small personal investment moved quickly (11 months) to a 4000sq foot warehouse with a projected £400000 turnover. At this point I had a part time employee and I was still working full time as a vice principal. It was then I needed to choose my career path! In August 2021 I launched myself into a new world of e-commerce, business meetings and extensive learning. From the beginning my goal has always been to surround myself with great people. I have a truly inspirational and passionate team; all reflected in our outstanding trustpilot score and testimonials. Outside of the core team we have the support network from our e-commerce team at IRP, account manager at BFG and many more! We continue to expand our network and look forward to sponsoring the world ice swimming championships in Italy 2025. The calendar for 2024 is full! We are involved in community, local and national, charities and events and actively encourage our cosi community to get involved in all of our product developments through focus groups and podcasts. Our new customisation options involve a wide range of industries; film, sports, spectating. We look forward to growing internationally and expanding our product range.
