ECL collects two types of information from our Users: (i) User Data; and (ii) Technical Data. Although we do not normally use Technical Data to identify you as an individual, you can sometimes be recognized from it. By signing up to our conference or one of our affiliated events you agree to have your contact information, including email, passed on to the sponsors of the event for the purpose of following up on your interests.

This information will be shared through the platform and other applications to enable networking, partner booth interaction and content engagement during and post-event by ECL and its partners, as well as with partners who sponsor particular elements of our events that you attend e.g. opening party, social activities, drinks receptions, talks or seminars (Note: these are examples and this list is not exhaustive).

We may disclose personal data only as is necessary to provide our services, and under the conditions stipulated below:

Business Partners: Partners who we work together with to provide you the services you’ve requested or bought, or elements of our events that they have sponsored. For example, sharing your personal data via the platform or other third-party applications to enable networking, partner booth interaction and content engagement during and post-event by ECL and its partners.

Service Providers: Carefully selected companies that provide services for or on behalf of us, such as companies that help us with event management, customer care activities, advertising (including customised advertising on our websites, third-party websites, or online platforms), conducting customer satisfaction surveys, or billing, or that send emails on our behalf. These providers are also committed to protecting your information.

Other Parties When Required by Law: For example, it may be necessary by law, legal process, or court order from governmental authorities to disclose your information. We will take all reasonable, appropriate security measures to protect ECL and our customers from unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal data we hold.
